The business purpose of the enterprise is the entrepreneurial transfer of knowledge and technology between science and academia on the one hand, and trade and industry on the other, particularly in the Stuttgart region. To this end, the enterprise sets up Steinbeis Transfer Centers, using these companies as vehicles for providing development and consulting services, as well as offering research, education, and training services in keeping with the goals of the Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences (HFT Stuttgart). The enterprise may also manufacture and distribute products and provide services in connection with the aforementioned services.
