The Steinbeis Transfer Center Power Electronics for renewable energies, electro mobility and sector coupling deals with power converter technology used in the grid integration of renewable energies, storage systems, electrolyzers, and electric vehicles, also collaborating closely in this field with both the Fraunhofer Institute for Energy Economics and Energy System Technology (Fraunhofer IEE) and the Chair of Electromobility and Electrical Infrastructure at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS).
