Key Areas

    • Measurement and calculation of the carbon emissions of companies (Corporate Carbon Footprint, Scope 1 based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol - transnational carbon accounting)
    • Measurement and calculation of the carbon emissions of products (Corporate Carbon Footprint, Scope 2 based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol - transnational carbon accounting)
    • Measurement and calculation of the carbon emissions of upstream and downstream business activities (Corporate Carbon Footprint, Scope 3 based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol - transnational carbon accounting)
    • Provision of reliable climate figures; carbon reduction across the board; a sustainable climate protection strategy focusing on finding solutions, and reducing and avoiding carbon emissions
    • Introduction and supervision of company climate management structures based on strategies aimed at reducing carbon footprints (priority given to preventing and reducing greenhouse gases rather than compensation)
    • Carbon compensation options; projects on a regional basis, across Germany, and internationally, although priority is given to local projects
