- The company´s purpose is the provision of services in research, education, upbringing and supplementary services through the operation of an institute for joining technology and material testing as well as an in accordance with the aims and guidelines of the German Welding Society (DVS-Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V.) educational institution for welding technology,
- training and testing in the field of joining, separating and related processes;
- research, consulting, expert reports, as far as they complement theses procedures, quality assurance and material testing in connection with production engineering, especially processes for joining, separating, coating and microsystem technology;
- education that is not only taking place in one plant, external education and upbringing as initial training, further training and re-education, extra occupational or full-time, regional and national, also for special target groups in different learning situations or problematic and social situations, also in the interaction with employment projects with the aim to prepare and establish industry and the preparation of permanent workplaces;
- the perception of tasks of youth welfare, especially in the field of youth social work, assisted living including intensive social-educational individual supervision as well as necessary educational counseling while implementing suitable forms of vocational education for special target groups;
- provision of the thereto necessary theoretical and practical personnel, rooms and equipment including the required accommodations and their constant adaption to the sustainable fulfillment of the necessary level.
