- Planning of module concepts for a car cockpit for use in several vehicle models and variants: maximum uniformity of cockpit components in areas not perceived by the customer (substructure), identical production and assembly methods, optimum proportion of standard components and deliberate product differentiation in top priority areas visible to the customer. This results in a significant reduction in the cost of product development and production, also shortening development time. It also becomes possible to improve product quality markedly. Innovations can be channeled into individual modules, even across several models.
