The goal of the Ferdinand-Steinbeis-Gesellschaft (FSG) is to promote transfer-oriented research. The transfer-oriented approach to scientific research is defined as “dual principle” of science, which is based on the simultaneous impact of social effectiveness and scientific standards. By working through the FSG Institutes (FSGIs), the FSG gives transfer-oriented scientists, institutional partners in academia and businesses the opportunity to access a meaningful platform and conduct collaborative, network-driven as well as interdisciplinary research projects.
